Recycling materials will build environment awareness and save our planet
Have you ever think of ways you can save the planet? As an artist, have you ever think of recycling cardboard? You can use cardboard as your canvas for painting. The surface is smooth and it absorbs acrylic paint with a beautiful finish. Using cardboard can help you to save money on those pricey canvases. Finding use for cardboard is another way to save our planet and cut down on waste. You can get cardboard at the supermarket for free.
How to use cardboard in your painting
The first thing you do is to find a cardboard box. Next you need a ruler, pencil, and a knife. Flatten your cardboard box and then you open up the sides with a knife. Use your ruler to measure the space and then mark the lines with your pencil/pen. Use your knife to cut out your shape. Now you have a space to paint. Cardboard is good for acrylic painting. Experiment with your new canvas and let me know what you think. You can learn more about recycling from these sites:
